Lovely property, lobby, restaurant's and grounds were lovely

€25 fee for hydrotherapy suite in spa is ridiculous. It is v poor and really not worth any fee

Very Good

Food in bar was amazing, Bar staff very friendly.

1 small lift, also used by staff. Breakfast nice but not a huge choice. One 2 sets of towels and 2x water for 3 guests.

Beautiful venue.

Room was a great size. Bar area very comfortable and not too noisy. Service was very good. Food was OK nothing special.

Room was too warm despite no radiator being on and window was open. Would recommend installation of air conditioning to better regulate temperature in room.

Very Good

The room was comfortable, nicely decorated. Good choice of foods for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and it was so nice to arrive and find a card wishing her a happy birthday on the table.

My room was booked for 3 people, myself and two daughters. There were only two cups in the room for use, which was a little disappointing

Have stayed here many times now for various reasons and it has always been excellent. The staff are superb.

Reception staff friendly, professional and helpful. Building and grounds superb. Rooms clean tidy and comfortable

Bar staff were sort staffed, inexperienced and slow. In Oak & Anvil drinks were slow getting to table, no supervision or manager seen throughout stay. Staff clearly understaffed, undertrained and inexperienced

The plates at breakfast were stone cold consequently the food was only look warm

Breakfast experience was v poor. The computers at checkout were ‘frozen’ I could not checkout and was informed by Emily she would Email me my receipt !!! Not happy but took her at her word it’s now 7.30pm and I still have not received my receipt

The old charm and breakfast choices and good accommodation...

The old charm and breakfast choices and good accommodation services. Free water and bed made everday.

The walk from reception to the room was a bit of a distance and the gym and spa were in another building.

Nice country house feel, excellent pool .

TV in the Bistro, spoilt the ambience. Not a good idea more suited to a pub not a good class hotel restaurant.

It was relaxing but building needs some updating

Food was lovely, quiet hotel

Hot tap in bathroom didn't work only a small drop, hotel is a bit higilty pigilty with regards to layout but that really can't be helped

Friendly staff. Great breakfast selection. Lots of space.

Mix up with the room - booked twin family room but when we got to the room it wasnt a twin. The rooms are a bit of a distance from reception.

Lovely hotel, would definitely return.

The beds were so comfortable and the twin room came with two double beds instead of two singles which was fab! The breakfast was also lovely and there was so much choice.

Food, breakfast was great.

Food, breakfast was great. The grounds were good for a few km run and playground and grounds great for my daughter. Very good pool for 4 year old. Family room nice and spacious.

Maybe needs better veg dish options.

Bank holiday stay.

The food is very good. Not a big menu but enough to cater for all tastes.

The beds are very hard. Mattress topper would be a good addition. Old style orthopedic mattress.

Lovely family stay in a stunning location

We just loved the leisure centre and we used it 3 times during on 1 night trip and had a fabulous swim in the 25m pool and a relax in the jacuzzi

The pillows were well used and needed to be changed. The breakfast was quite basic and the hot food could have been hotter.
